“Japanese Zodiac”

2021.01.16 – 02.16

In Japan, instead of sending a Christmas card, we send a New Year’s card with  a picture of the zodiac animal to celebrate the New Year on January 1st.
Starting from mouse to boar, we have 12 zodiac animals representing each year instead of numbers. And this year, 2021 is the year of cattle by the way.
Kouichi Fine Arts has been asking one of our gallery artists for painting the zodiac animal (mouse, cow, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, chicken, dog, boar) for our New Year’s card every year since 2006.
In this exhibition, we exhibit those unique zodiac animal works by our gallery artists. We welcome you to come experience these works.
