Paint the canvas with white, then black. And scratch with a needle all at once before the black paint dries out. It is an irreversible work of listening to the sound, expanding the image, and drawing (writing) with lines. The collection of lines that seems to start moving is the appeal and the best part of Nobuko Sugio’s work.
