When I look at the flowers, I especially care about the colors, as it may have something to do with the fact that my parents’ house was a flower farm. In this work, a block film which the artificial flowers of roses are printed on is layered on the photographed flowers. The flowers that can be seen on the screen are artificial flowers, but the colors are of fresh flowers. Aluminum tapes in several places implicate the theme for producing works of this exhibition which is to design among various genres such as silk screen, photography, painting, and design. And it’s like a fastener with different material combinations and no practical use in the production of clothes. by Takashi Kondo
