Mari Kuroda: Recollection -Scenery-

We present “Mari Kuroda Exhibition: Recollection -Scenery-” from April 7th (Sat) to 21st (Sat), 2012. Featured are less well-known works that take as their motifs  living or inanimate things such as landscapes or sparrows.

Note from the Artist:
When I encounter a landscape, it overlaps with something in my memory and intrigues me. That moment becomes a spark, a trigger to paint a picture, and the memory take on a concrete form. Using acrylic paint and pigments, I depict quotidian sceneries from each season on Japanese paper or silk.
